Bodega Stool – High

Cabinet maker Niels Vodder stands out as one of the brightest shining stars among the crowd that established the brand of hand-made, high-quality Danish Mid-Century Modern furniture. He is first and foremost famous for his cooperation with furniture designer Finn Juhl, a cooperation that produced a number of classics of modern design as the Pelican chair (1940) or the models NV 44, NV 45 and NV 48. Initially, the resulting works of the collaboration caused a stir at the annual Cabinetmaker’s Exhibition in Copenhagen during the 1940’s, with designs clearly influenced by modern, abstract art, and at the time a break with traditional furniture designs.
