Born in 1921 in Denmark and originally trained in carpentry and later taking night classes in architecture while working for some of the now very famous Danish architects such Frits Schlegel, Arne Jacobsen and Finn Juhl on now iconic pieces of Danish architecture such the National Bank in Copenhagen.

While working in this highly stimulatory environment, Erik gained an interest in furniture design, which has resulted in many prizes. Erik is still active and shows a great interest in making his furniture available again.
